3-day orientation training course on Fertilizer Quality Control concludes at Kissan Kendra Jammu

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 30: The three day orientation training course on Fertilizer Quality Control concluded today here at Kissan Kendra, Jammu. The Training was conducted for skill upgradation of 50 field functionaries of Enforcement Wing of both divisions of  J&K UT regarding Fertilizer Quality Control as  per instructions of Shailendra Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Govt., Agriculture Production  & Farmers Welfare  Department .

Dr. Ravindra Yadav, Deputy Director, Central Fertilizer  Quality Control & Training Institute, N.H.I.V, Faridabad , Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India was the main resource person. He educated the trainees about all aspects of Fertilizer Quality Control including Legal Procedures to be adopted in context of Fertilizer (Control) Order 1985.

Dr.Ravindra Yadav appreciated the level of knowledge & response of trainees during training course and  expressed gratitude to the  Director Agriculture Jammu for providing him opportunity  & support during training  at Jammu

RamSavak, Director Agriculture Jammu, in his address, thanked the  Resource Person for providing informative & quality training to the participants. He said that such training needs to be conducted at district Level for capacity building of field functionaries. He also impressed upon trainees to implement their knowledge & skill acquired through training at field level for welfare of farmers.

An interactive session cum feedback session was also held in which participants expressed satisfaction over the quality of training & relevance of Lectures delivered.

At the end of the programme, certificates were issued to the trainees on successful completion of the training course by the Director Agriculture Jammu.
