Maintenance, Up-gradation Work kick started on Dhar Road to Shiv temple Khoon Road

UDHAMPUR, December 02: Maintenance and up-gradation work of Dhar road to Shiv Mandir Khoon road has been kick started in Udhampur by PWD dept.

 The project is scheduled to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 15.40 lakh. The move aims to improve the road condition and ensure the safety of the people traveling in the area.

 Vice Chairperson Juhi Manhas Pathania today visited the site at Khoon Block and inspected the ongoing work. She also inspected other PWD works, including the maintenance of Dhemma-Thial road and the construction of Bhag to Dagodia morh road (cost of Rs 48 lakh). She expressed her satisfaction over the progress of the projects and commended the efforts of the PWD team.

 Mrs Pathania called upon the department for timely completion of projects and urged them to take into consideration the grievances raised by the locals. She emphasized the importance of working as per the plan and timeline completion of projects. She added that these maintenance works are crucial in ensuring the safety and convenience of the people traveling in the area.

The maintenance and upgradation work of Dhar road to Shiv Mandir Khoon road will include repairing potholes, improving drainage systems and adding road signs and markings. The project is expected to be completed within the given timeline.

Prominent among those who remained present on the occasion included Romesh Chander Gupta Sarpanch Khoon, Nirmata Bali Naib Sarpanch Khoon, Ved Sharma, Kuldeep Singh, Mohan Lal and officials from the department of PWD among others.
