People welcome Yatra in 7 Panchayats of Ramsoo, Ramban blocks

RAMBAN, December 03: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign has gained momentum in Ramban district under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary.
Amid vibrant participation of all stakeholders, the campaign is spreading awareness about government schemes among the public. Health camps, Sankalp pledges, and outreach activities are being organized, fostering community engagement, besides making available on-the-spot services.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) on Sunday reached seven Panchayats of Maitra Govindpura-B, Chanderkote, Dhanmasta-A, Dhanmasta-B, Sujmatna-B, Sujmatna-C and Bajmasta in block Ramsoo and Ramban where people enthusiastically welcomed VBSY at each respective location, a dynamic mix of events and initiatives unfolded, success stories of empowerment and collective engagement towards a shared vision of national development.
The primary objective of this outreach and information dissemination campaign is to empower citizens to become active stakeholders in the country’s development.
SDM Ramsoo, Ghanishyam Basotra, Tehsildar, BDOs, PRIs and other officers and officials participated in the events in various panchayats.
The VBSY awareness camps were organized in panchayats wherein, besides awareness lectures on various government welfare schemes by several concerned officers, Viksit Bharat Sankalp pledges were also administered to the participants. The Yatra aims to reach out to the unreached population, making them aware of various government schemes such as the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana, and the Urea Subsidy Scheme, along with the process to avail benefits.
Free medical camps were held, providing free health services to local people at their doorsteps. Golden Cards and KCC cards were distributed among eligible beneficiaries. Attendees pledged in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat, aiming to foster India’s development.
In the ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ activity, successful beneficiaries of various schemes shared their experiences. Cultural and sports events were also organized on the occasion.
In Chanderkote free gift kits were given to specially abled children and prominent sports children were also felicitated by the Sarpanch Mohammed Ashraf.
In Ramban-B Panchayat, the Tehsildar Ramban, S. Harveer Singh and officers of various departments heard the grievances of villagers and sensitized them about various government schemes. On the occasion, AEO, Jagdish Bali demonstrated the method of collecting soil for testing also.
