VBSY an ultimate programme to reach out unreached

Gets immense response at New Theed Panchayat Halqa in Srinagar District

SRINAGAR December 05: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), an ultimate programme launched nationwide to reach out to the unreached population has got an immense response in rural areas of Srinagar District. 

Under the programme, aimed at informing citizens about the Centre’s welfare programmes and flagship schemes to empower them, people particularly women are enthusiastically and actively participating in the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. 

Today various Panchayats of Srinagar including new Theed Panchayat Halqa in Harwan Block of Srinagar District were covered under VBSY, where a massive public  response and engagement  was witnessed. 

Besides, promoting awareness of welfare programmes, IEC awareness vans, solution of problems of public in the presence of public representatives (PRIs) and the Officers of different Departments of District Administration were the main features of VBSY which attracted the public in large numbers. 

Various Departments had installed special counters and stalls during the program to provide benefits of welfare schemes and online services at the spot. 

People were provided Ayushman Bharat/Golden cards, Aaadhaar seeding services enrolment drives for different services biometric authentication on the spot. 

A lot of excitement was seen at the venue of VBSY particularly around the VBSY IEC vans as the villagers in large numbers thronged around vans which presented Recorded message of the Prime Minister and also showed live demonstrations of various Governmental Schemes.
