Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra concludes campaign in remote Warwan & Thakrie Blocks of District Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, December 05: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra extended its reach to the remote area of Inshan in Block Warwan today.

This marks the successful culmination of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra to the remote blocks of Warwan covering all panchayats. The Thakrie block also witnessed the culmination of the campaign after conducting all scheduled activities in Keshwan-A and Keshwan-B Panchayats .

Despite challenging weather conditions and geographical limitations, the yatra began with enthusiastic participation of the people in Warwan Block. Throughout its journey, numerous awareness activities regarding flagship schemes, aligned with the yatra’s objectives, were conducted. Additionally, the yatra ensured comprehensive coverage and implementation of the key schemes in these areas, aiming for maximum outreach and impact.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav flagged off   the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van to traverse Panchayats Keshwan-A and Keshwan-B of Block Thakrie, as well as Panchayats Kukerwas and Khori of Block Drabshalla.   

At Panchayat Keshwan-A, the arrival of the VBSY IEC Van was greeted with warm embraces, flowers, and enthusiastic participation. The event commenced with the administration of the Sankalp pledge, captivating cultural performances by the students of HSS Keshwan, and inspiring success stories shared through ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’. Additionally, a health camp conducted by the Medical staff of HWC Keshwan focused on identifying conditions like sickle cell & TB screening.

Meanwhile, the Panchayat Secretary Abdul Majeed Shah facilitated the distribution of Ayushman and KCC cards by the Shiv Nagar Branch of J&K Bank.

The Field functionaries also enlightened masses about various schemes within their departments.

Sarpanch Farooq Ahmed Kripak and other prominent persons  graced the occasion, drawing a crowd of 200 enthusiastic participants from the panchayats.
