24×7 Police surveillance teams, flying squads stationed around Centers: DC Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 07: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav today inspected the examination centres for the OMR-based exam being conducted by J&K Services Selection Board for the posts of Panchayat Secretary.

Accompanied by ADDC Kishtwar Sham Lal, ASP, Rajinder Singh, ACR, Varunjeet Singh Charak and Dy SP Hqrs,  Ishan Gupta, the Deputy Commissioner assessed the arrangements made for the Exam. Observers and Centre Superintendents were present on the occasion.

They were instructed to ensure all arrangements were in place ahead of the examination day.

A total of 13 examination centres have been established by the district administration in the town and its adjoining areas for conducting the SSB Exam. Flying squad teams were also constituted to supervise and ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.

The DC expressed satisfaction with the arrangements in place for the aspirants’ convenience during his visit to the examination centres. He directed the concerned authorities to ensure fair and transparent exams.

Earlier, DC Kishtwar issued a video for the Exam Aspirants of the district, urging them to follow the instructions issued by SSB (Dos and Don’ts) to facilitate a hassle-free, fair, and transparent exam in the district.

DC informed that the implementation of round-the-clock police surveillance teams and flying squads stationed around the exam centers, coupled with stringent penalties for cheaters, is designed to guarantee the transparency, fairness, and smooth execution of the exam. DC Kishtwar assured that all necessary measures have been meticulously put in place to uphold the integrity of the examination process.
