GDC Nubra conducts SVEEP Programme

Leh, Dec 08, 2023: Department of Political Science, Govt. Degree College, Nubra in collaboration with Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (Tehsildar) Nubra, Tufail Ahmed conducted a SVEEP Programme in the college on December 7.

Principal, Govt. Degree College, Nubra, Dr. Tsewang Mutup welcomes all the participants.

Assistant Professor Rinchen Angmo then briefed about the SVEEP Programme to the audience. Similarly,Tehsildar, Disket, Tufail Ahmad and Tehsildar, Sumoor Wasim Rizwan spoke elaborately about the need to enhance voter awareness and promote voter education and literacy.

Also, a speech competition was organised in which students actively took part and presented their thoughts about the flagship programme of Election Commission of India (ECI).

In the competition, Rigzen Namgyal secured 1st Position, Shah Jahan secured 2nd position and Zara Batul stood 3rd position. The winners were presented with prizes.
