J&K scaling new heights in health sector: Manyal

Sanctioning funds to the tune of rupees 70 crore  for the establishment of first Government Homeopathic Medical College in the village Rakh Hoshyari in Kathua district of Union Territory, by the union Ayush Ministry is one more leap in the health sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

This was stated by BJP General Secretary and former Minister, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, while terming the decision of the union government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as one more gift in the series of already sanctioned and funded various projects in different sectors for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. J&K is getting special attention after Narendra Modi took over as Prime Minister of India and this discriminated region is now marching ahead in all the fields, he said.

Dr. Manyal said that the Narendra Modi government has given two AIIMS, Medical Colleges at district levels in J&K,  it enhanced the quota of MBBS seats to enable more students to study medical courses. While the union government has framed Ayushmaan Gold Health Card scheme with facility of health insurance of rupees five lakh to all BPL families in all the others states and UTs, it has extended this facility to every member of a family here, which itself speaks of the PM’s concern for good healthcare for every individual living in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr. Manyal expressed gratitude to the Union Ministry of  AYUSH under PM Modi for sanctioning funds for first Government Homeopathic Medical College in J&K and  said that it will provide big relief to the people who rely on the Homeopathic system  of  medicine for curing their diseases. In addition, the Homeopathic Medical College will also prove to be a boon for students wishing to seek admission for homeopathic Medicine courses. Till now, they had been moving out of J&K for such courses as there was no such medical college in  J&K .

Dr Manyal, at the same time, asked the people not to get misled by the false and baseless  propaganda of opposition parties, which never appreciate the good governance of PM Modi but keep targeting BJP and Modi government just for political survival. He said that the people are themselves watching the reformative initiatives of the Modi government and sanctioning of various mega development projects as well as numerous welfare schemes. The BJP leader expressed hope that the good sense would prevail on opposition parties and they take path of healthy politics, which demand that good work of any government should be appreciated and highlighted.
