Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra ignites enthusiasm across Reasi, six more panchayats embrace wave of development
REASI, December 08: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continued its impactful journey, reaching six additional Panchayats in the Blocks of Reasi district. The vibrant event showcased a festive atmosphere, featuring colorful cultural events and the sharing of success stories from beneficiaries, progressive farmers, and entrepreneurs. An effective Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign about centrally sponsored schemes added to the enriching experience for the local community.
The IEC van cover six more Panchayats covering a total of 44 that became part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra include Sool, Sira Kotla, Sher Garhi, Thalkote, Chillad and Sujandhar. The venues were adorned with a spectrum of activities, drawing attention to the numerous government schemes aimed at promoting welfare, employment, insurance, social security, and income generation.
Key attractions at the venues included Audio-Video sessions facilitated through IEC Vans mounted with LEDs, providing a dynamic platform for disseminating information to the local population. Officers and officials from various departments dedicated their efforts to conducting IEC activities at every Panchayat in the block, demonstrating a commitment to reaching the unreached segments of the population.
During the event, PRIs (Panchayati Raj Institutions) and field functionaries of stakeholder departments actively engaged with the attendees, raising awareness about government schemes and their benefits. Stalls set up by different departments highlighted the significance of welfare, employment, insurance, social security, and income generation initiatives, creating an interactive environment for the participants.
Participants in the Viksit Bharat Yatra programmes included block officers and officials from line departments, PRIs, students, and enthusiastic locals. Their collective involvement underscored the community’s fervent commitment to embracing and supporting the ongoing development initiatives in the region.
