Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra covers 6 more Panchayats at Shopian

SHOPIAN, December 09: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a nationwide outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the center’s flagship schemes, was today organised in 6 Panchayats of Zainapora and Herman blocks of Shopian district.

IEC vans, equipped with audio-visual equipment and LED walls, travelled through these Panchayats, ensuring every Panchayat received information about Government achievements and welfare programmes.

This is an effort to cover those who are still not aware of the schemes, said the speakers while highlighting the benefits of centrally sponsored schemes.

Residents and Government officials actively participated in the yatra. The speakers highlighted the importance of such initiatives in reaching geographically isolated communities.

The people of these Panchayats commended the effort for bringing awareness about various Government schemes to the doorstep of villagers.

People in large numbers participated in VBSY in Panchayats, Safanagri, Sofipora, Watchi A, Watchi B, Reban and D.K.Pora.

The speakers threw light on various beneficiary oriented schemes like, Tajsawani, Ujjwala, PM Kisan Samman, PM Garib Kalyan, KCC etc. meant for the wellbeing of the general public so that people can avail benefits of these schemes.
