Rs 20.62 lakh disbursed among 38 beneficiaries, 84 on spot Registration of JKBOC workers and 490 Renewals done during VBSY
SRINAGAR December 09:- With a view to reach out uncovered beneficiaries under ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Labour Department on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad conducted dissemination and awareness campaign in different Panchayats of the District.
During the awareness camps held at Nowgam, Lasjan, Fakir Gujri, New Theed, Dhara, Panzinara and other Panchayats of the District, the Labour Department sensitized the people about various Government flagship programmes.
The camps were held under the supervision of Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC), Srinagar, Arshid Qadir Bhat during which an amount of Rs 20.62 lakh was disbursed among 38 beneficiaries under different schemes of the Labour Department. In addition, as many as 84 on spot Registrations under JKBOC Welfare Schemes of Construction Workers and 490 Renewals were made during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
