Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra covers 80 Panchayats in Samba District
SAMBA, December 10: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a grassroots initiative to spread the message of development and progress, has completed its visit to 80 panchayats in Samba district. The Viksit Bharat Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van, has been traveling across the district delivering the Prime Minister’s vision and inspiring the local communities.
On December 10, 2023, the yatra covered five more panchayats: Sarain and Papar avtara in Nud block, Patyari Katlan in Ghagwal block, and Bagla Jakh and Salmeri in Vijaypur block. The yatra received a warm welcome from the residents and the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), who expressed their support and enthusiasm for the initiative. On the arrival of Vans various cultural events were organised , featuring performances by school children on the theme of “Dharti Kahe Pukaar Ke,” and testimonies by beneficiaries of various government schemes under the banner of “Meri Kahani Meri Zubaani.”
The yatra also facilitated the delivery of government services to the people by setting up departmental stalls at each panchayat. The stalls provided information and assistance on various schemes of health, agriculture, social welfare, and rural development.
One of the highlights of the day was a special event at Bagla Jakh panchayat in Vijaypur block, where Ex minister Chander Prakash Ganga, DDC Vijaypur Shilpa Dubey, Sarpanch Ramesh Kumar Sharma, and other PRI members graced the occasion and addressed the gathering. They praised the yatra for its positive impact and urged the people to participate in the Viksit Bharat mission.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will continue its journey in the remaining panchayats of Samba district, aiming to reach out to every citizen and create a wave of development and progress in the region.
