VBSY Van reaches Panchayat Marh and Bamyal of Block Nagrota, spreading the message of PM Modi
JAMMU, December 11: As part of the ongoing VIKSIT BHARAT SANKALP YATRA, a special van reached Panchayat Marh and Bamyal in Block Nagrota today, receiving a warm welcome from BDC Chairman Nagrota, Rehmat Ali and Block Development Officer, Shalini Raina along with officers of line departments, including CDPO Dansal, RS Jamwal, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, and officials from various departments. Sarpanch, Ghulam Mustafa of Bamyal, panches and others were also present at the occasion.
The VBSY Van aims to convey the message of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his vision to develop India into a prosperous nation by 2047.
The van showcased a video message from the PM, urging people to take a pledge for the progress and prosperity of the country. Attendees at the event took the Sankalp, pledging their commitment to the cause.
The event commenced with the National Anthem and featured cultural performances by students from Middle School Bamyal and Marh, displaying their talent through songs, dances, and skits. The audience applauded the efforts of the young artists.
Representatives of line departments also set up stalls, explaining government schemes and programs for public welfare. They distributed pamphlets, brochures and answered queries of the public.
During the event, the public availed free healthcare services under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Certificates were also distributed to Progressive Farmers, recognising their contributions to the agriculture sector. Sanction letters for old age, widow pensions, and disability pensions were handed over to deserving applicants on the spot.
