“Congress party can’t escape from their wrong deeds; they have to pay a price”: BJP leader Kiren Rijiju

New Delhi [India], December 12 (ANI): Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday targeted Congress, saying, “The Congress party can’t escape from their wrong deeds; they have to pay a price,” Rijiju added.

Further, Rijiju alleged that the Congress party and its alliance are getting upset with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central agencies as their corrupt activities are getting exposed.

“Congress party and corruption are two synonymous words. The ongoing IT raids against Dhiraj Sahu and all other corrupt activities happening around the country by the Congress and its alliance are getting exposed so the Congress party is very upset with the agencies and the PM. Congress, party and corruption are two synonymous words,” the Union Minister said.

Rijiju also said proceedings against the corrupt people associated with Congress and its aides will not end, adding that “this is the guarantee of PM Modi.”

“The list of corruption is too long… The issue of corruption is coming to the fore yet again. Proceedings against the corrupt people associated with Congress and its aides will not end. This is the guarantee of PM Modi,” Rijiju said.

Further, Rijiju claimed that not a single case of corruption can be found among the ministries under the Modi government, as PM Modi himself works against corruption with complete strictness.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju says, “The reason for not a single case of corruption coming forward of any minister or ministry under the Modi government is that PM Modi himself works against corruption with complete strictness that no one can even think that anybody in the Union government will do any corruption. People in different states are showing trust in PM Modi and moving forward since the country has such a clean government.

The BJP has stepped up the heat on the Congress on the issue of corruption with the recovery of more than Rs 300 crore from Congress MP Dheeraj Prasad Sahu’s Odisha premises during Income Tax department raids.

Meanwhile, the Congress has chosen to distance itself from the cash recovered at its MPs home, claiming that only Dhiraj Sahu can explain how huge amounts of cash were found at his business.

“The Indian National Congress is in no way connected with the businesses of Dhiraj Sahu, MP. Only he can explain, and should explain, how huge amounts of cash have been reportedly unearthed by the income-tax authorities from his properties,” Congress MP Jairam Ramesh said.
