BJP has a long history of struggle, sacrifices in J&K: Koul
Doda: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the largest political party not only in India but also at the global level and the credit for this milestone goes to the committed cadre of the party, which is working round the clock to strengthen its roots at the grass roots level. This milestone has been achieved through the consistent working, better coordination and above all the discipline in the party, said Ashok Koul.
He was addressing a meeting of the office bearers and senior leaders of Doda District in the party office in Doda town, wherein he sought details related to the organizational set up at district and Mandal levels and the ongoing programmes of the party.
Ashok Koul said that the BJP has a long history of struggle and sacrifices in Jammu & Kashmir right from the days of Praja Parishad, followed by Jana Sangha. He said that the party considers J&K as the crown of mother India and every activist of the organization considers it as prime duty to stand on front line for the honour of his motherland. He said that although BJP is a political party but its mission is to serve the nation and its people, which makes it a different organization than other parties. He asked the office bearers and others to put more efforts in view of the 2024 general elections to ensure support maximum people in their respective areas in the elections.
J&K BJP Vice-President Shakti Parihar, District President Vijay Mohan Thakur, DDC Chairperson Dhanantar Singh, former MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar, District Prabhari Pawan Sharma, Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency Vistarak Vipan Sharma, senior leaders Swami Raj Sharma, Manjeet Razdan, Basant Raj Thakur and other leaders, were among the other prominent present in the meeting.
Shakti Parihar said that the district team has been working with dedication to ensure that the bonds between the party and the general public is strengthened.
Vijay Mohan Thakur, in the meeting, presented the detailed report with regard to the party’s programme undertaken in the district and also shared the future course of action for strengthening the party.
Dhanantar Singh briefed the meeting about various ongoing developmental activities in the Doda District undertaken by the District Development Council.
Daleep Singh Parihar shared the information related to the centrally sponsored schemes being run in the district.
Pawan Sharma said that the areas like Doda, which lacked the proper road connectivity, has been gifted with mega projects for the purpose by the Modi government.
