ACD Doda reviews progress of RDD works
DODA, DECEMBER 12: To discuss an action plan for the efficient and timely execution of developmental projects and schemes in the district, Assistant Commissioner Development Doda, Phulail Singh today chaired a meeting of the BDOs and Engineering staff here in the meeting hall of ACD Office.
ACD reviewed the progress under District Capex Budget, CD & Pyt, MGNREGA, PMAY, Construction of Panchayat Ghars, and other developmental activities.
While reviewing the Block wise progress of MGNREGA and PMAY-G, the ACD directed the BDOs to ensure timely payments, quality check, aadhar seeding, shelf of works, digitization of MGNREGA Plans, Geo tagging of assets, transaction reconciliation, delay monitoring, NREGA Mobile Monitoring System (NMMS).
Further BDO’s were directed to complete the targets as per the deadlines set by the higher authorities.
While reviewing the progress of District Capex Budget and CD & Pyt, the ACD directed engineering staff to complete the billing process of all the works being executed in the district within a week’s time. The BDOs were directed to process the bills of all the works and ensure 70% physical and financial progress of works by the end of December 2023.
While reviewing the progress of tendering, XEN Rew intimated that poor response of bidders has been observed in respect of some works. The ACD directed to float the tenders of such works from Panchayat level to Block level in order to ensure timely execution and completion of works in the district. He further directed to blacklist the contractors who have not taken the allotments or the works haven’t been started yet inspite of serving of final notices.
Reviewing construction of Panchayat Ghars, Community Soakage pits, Segregation sheds, IHHL, Aspirational Panchayat Portal, ACD directed the BDOs to complete the targets and ensure community benefits.
While reviewing the progress of Gram Panchayat’s Own Sources of Revenue, (OSR), reluctance on the part of the Gram Panchayat to mobilize own revenue has been seen as a principal reason of low OSR and ACD directed BDO’s to collect tax on houses and market places and ensure mobilization of own revenue at panchayat level.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner, Panchayat Doda sh. Ashfaq Khanji, XEN REW Doda Er. Pankaj Sharma, All Block Development Officers along with their dealing assistants, AEEs, AEs, and JEs were also present in the meeting.
