Subash Park Hosts Thrilling Sports Event amid Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Kishtwar

PMs Message resonates in six more Panchayats

KISHTWAR, December 15: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Van today traversed its journey through 06 more Panchayts viz Cherji & Kawar of block Nagseni, Lachkhazan & Lachdayaram B of block Kishtwar and Sigdi B1 & Molchiter of Block Mughal Maidan.

The overwhelming community response underscored its significance as the Yatra received constant support from prominent personalities, common masses, local PRIs, including DDC and BDC members, Sarpanches, Panches, Block Level officers , and other field functionaries contributing significantly to its smooth execution.

Subhash Park in Kishtwar’s Lachkhazana Panchayat, Block Kishtwar, became the vibrant venue for an invigorating Sports Event amidst the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

The fervor of the event captivated participants and spectators alike, fostering community unity and healthy competition. Sporting enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds converged, showcasing their talents and promoting the spirit of camaraderie. The event’s success resonated in the joyous cheers and spirited performances, reinforcing the Yatra’s mission of holistic development. Through sports, the Yatra not only energized individuals but also highlighted the importance of active engagement and camaraderie within the community.

Central to the Yatra’s success was the IEC Van, disseminating the Prime Minister’s message on Centrally Sponsored Schemes and their effective implementation. ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ provided a platform to the beneficiaries to share their experiences, enriching the Yatra’s essence.

A total of 38 activities   were conducted, and the people were acquainted with a number of  schemes, 2446 individuals took Viksit Bharat Sankalp, while scintillating  cultural items were presented under “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke” by the school students.

The Health camps held at all panchayats  during the Yatra  catered to the community’s health needs at their doorstep, screening 125 individuals for TB, 41 for Sickle Cell, and conducting NCD screenings of 263 participants.

Yatra facilitated the seamless saturation of various schemes including Ayushman Bharat Scheme, Jan Dhan, ODF, Digitisation of land Records, PM Kissan were saturated during the Yatra.

As many as 22 Ayushman golden Cards and 12 KCC cards were provided to the beneficiaries, while 22 individuals were enrolled under the PM Ujjwala scheme across these locations.
