JKAACL organises one day Music and Dance festival at GBHSS Sunderbani
SUNDERBANI, December 16: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, culture and languages organised a mega one day Music and Dance Festival here in Govt. Boys Hr Secondary School. The event was conducted under the supervision of Secretary JKAACL Bharat Singh.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Vehnal was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Local Artists from different parts of Rajouri Area took part in the event. Besides the preservation and promotion of regional culture and Literature in the Pir Panchal region, the motive of the program was to develop the interest in folk Music, Dance and folk Art among the young generation and lead them towards progress, positivity and development.
Secretary JKAACL, Bharat Singh, in his welcome address, underlined the importance of conservation and promotion of folk culture in far flung areas especially in Pir Panchal region. “The purpose of this event is to educate the younger generation towards regional culture,” he maintained and asked the youth of Sunderbani to imbibe positivity as they are torch bearers of the future of the country.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Vinod Vehnal appreciated the working of Cultural Academy in Pir Panchal region especially in Sunderbani area. He appreciated the Academy for hosting the mega one day Music and Dance Festival held at Boys Hr Secondary school Sunderbani.
The participants of the event were Dance Group Govt Boys Hr Secondary School Sunderbani; Govt. Girls Hr Secondary School Sunderbani; Harsh Niketan Hr Secondary School Sunderbani; Ishant Sharma and Party, Mulakhraj and Party, Suman Lata and Party, Rupali Sharma and party, Radhika Manhas and Party, Sadakkit Ali Bajran and Party, Atul Gupta and Party, Dheeraj Sharma and Party, Joginder Paul and Party, Parvez Malik and Party, Mumamzal Shah,Waseem Anjum, Ashish Kumar,Vikas Kumar,Sanjay Kumar Dholak was mesmerized the audience Joginder Paul conducted the proceedings.
