‘Mera Bharat Viksit Bharat’ pledges electrify the atmosphere at Anantnag

The ongoing transformative journey initiated by the Viksit Bharat initiative soared to new heights as it continued to engage with diverse and vibrant communities in Anantnag, emphasizing the government’s dedication to the welfare of its citizens.

Against the backdrop of various challenges, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra emerged triumphantly in Anantnag, weaving a narrative of empowerment and awareness. Despite adverse weather conditions, local communities actively participated in the Yatra, showcasing a collective commitment to understanding and embracing the Central Government’s flagship schemes.

The Yatra is an effective dynamic platform, showcasing impactful strides made under the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister. From Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana to Ayushman Bharat, Kisan Samman Nidhi to Ujjwala Yojana, it brought to light tangible benefits experienced by individuals.

The series of events under the theme ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zabani’ allowed beneficiaries to share firsthand experiences, creating a tapestry of transformation.

Innovative and interactive elements infused energy into the Yatra, with Day Nodal Officers conducting quizzes on flagship schemes, promoting engaging learning experiences. Drone demonstrations highlighted the intersection of technology and agriculture, showcasing the government’s commitment to modernizing practices for increased productivity.

The Yatra remained a vibrant hub of activity, with health camps providing screenings for 75,000 individuals, addressing various health concerns and emphasizing the holistic approach of the initiative. An integral part of the Yatra’s success lies in the active participation of the community. Over an impressive 1.90 lakh individuals pledged the transformative ‘Sankalp Pledge’ in District Anantnag. Recognition was extended to 6000 outstanding contributors, encompassing women, students, local artists, and sports personalities, affirming the Yatra’s role as a catalyst for collective progress.

Beyond its agricultural focus, the Yatra actively engaged farmers through drone demonstrations and Soil Health Card initiatives, promoting sustainable farming practices. Notable achievements included 250 Gram Panchayats reaching 100% JJM saturation and more than 300 Gram Panchayats attaining ODF+ status with 100% Digitization of Land Records.
