Absconder evading arrest for last 5 yrs held from Batote

DODA, 19 December 2023: Continuing its drive to arrest absconders/wanted criminals, Doda Police has arrested one absconder today on 19t December-2023, who was evading arrest for the last 5 years.

While giving details, Police said that one absconder Mohd Aslam S/O Nazir Hussain R/O Dhareja Bhaderwah was involved in case FIR No. 160/2019 U/S 452/382/323/148/147/504/506 IPC, registered against him at Police Station Bhaderwah and warrant U/S 512 CrPC was issued against him from Sub-Judge Bhaderwah on 15 April 2022. Doda Police launched a massive hunt and also cultivated sources for generating information about the movement and presence of said absconder and to track him.

Ultimately, after receiving specific information about his presence, a Police team of PS Bhaderwah arrested the said absconder from Nashri Naka Batote and produced him before the Court.
