Department of History, JU organized a dynamic poster-making, documentary and essay writings under Viksit Bharat@2047

Jammu, Dec 20: In alignment with the Viksit Bharat 2047 Programme, as proclaimed by the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and embraced by Vice Chancellor Prof. Umesh Rai at the University of Jammu, the Department of History has actively undertaken diverse initiatives aimed at fostering awareness and engaging students in activities related to this program. The department, along with its students, has participated in several endeavors, including a Discussion Session on the concept of Viksit Bharat 2047 held on December 18th and a lecture followed by an interactive session conducted by Dr. Amitash Ojha from IIT, Jammu.

Building on our commitment to engaging students in the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, the Department of History organized a dynamic poster-making, documentary and essay writings today on 20/12/23. This event served as a platform to not only evaluate but also celebrate the diverse perspectives and visions of our student community concerning the idea of a developed India by 2047.

During this session, students passionately presented expressive mediums, including posters, documentaries, and essays. These creative expressions collectively served as a vivid reflection of India’s remarkable advancements across various spheres. The showcased works meticulously underscored India’s progress in scientific research, academic excellence, artistic innovation, economic growth, and social development.
