Baramulla Police arrests most wanted drug smuggler, transfers him to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal in Jammu
In a significant breakthrough, Baramulla Police have successfully apprehended Shoib Aijaz Guru, the notorious drug smuggler hailing from Milat Colony, Kanispora.

Guru, who has long been on the police’s radar as one of the most wanted criminals involved in drug trafficking, was booked under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act. Following a thorough investigation, law enforcement officials acted swiftly to ensure his arrest.
He is currently lodged in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal, Jammu, where he will await further legal proceedings. His arrest is expected to provide valuable leads to the police in their ongoing fight against drug trafficking in the region.
