Modi plugged corruption, empowered a common man: Vibodh

Modi has become symbol of development, trust: Vibodh

Jammu and Kashmir BJP General Secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta, alongwith J&K Secretary and Reasi District Prabhari Arvind Gupta, reached Maari B Panchayat, Reasi to address public gathering in polling booth 160, under party’s ongoing ‘Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan’ programme.

Vibodh Gupta, while addressing the massive gathering, said that like other parts of the country, Jammu and Kashmir is getting adequate share in various development projects and numerous welfare schemes for the very first time. He said that the ten years rule under PM Modi has scripted history with no place for malpractices and corruption and reaching the last man  in the queue without discrimination or appeasement.

“PM Modi introduced Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) mode to facilitate direct transfer of financial assistance into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries under welfare schemes and left no place for agents or middlemen,” Vibodh said and added that in the Modi era, a common man has been empowered socially and economically.

The BJP leader said that Narendra Modi on the day first after assuming the chair of the PM, had publicly announced ‘Naa Khayunga naa Khaane dunga’, which was a clear message that the menace of corruption will have no place in the country as long as he is there in power. It was not just a slogan but reflective of his concern and commitment to make India free of corruption.

Although the unnerved opposition parties are making attempts to create a false narrative on massive development and public welfare schemes, the people are well aware of what is right and who is just playing politics. The people, today, have access to modern and easily accessible means of communication and cannot be misled.

He said that be it a booth level meeting or a mega public rally, the attendance of the people in large numbers itself shows that they are happy with the Modi model of development and welfare and want to strengthen his party, the BJP.

Vibodh Gupta appealed to the people to turn their trust in Modi into votes and defeat the parties which have always taken them for granted and did nothing practical.

Arvind Gupta, while addressing the gathering, said that booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan is an exercise of the party to reach the people with the programmes and policies of Narendra Modi government, which have improved the socio-economic status of the poor, marginalized sections, the farmers, the women, the youth and the public response is overwhelming. He said that the people have realised that everything is possible till Modi is in chair and they are expressing gratitude to the union government for taking pain for the welfare of  common citizens, whose voice was never heard in the past under non BJP governments.

District President Rohit Dubey, in his address, said that the people of this hilly area have themselves seen the massive development, particularly the road connectivity, upgradation of health and education infrastructure. He said that the people are hailing the good governance of PM Narendra Modi.

Raghav Kesar, the main speaker in the programme, said that the democracy at the grass root level has been strengthened enabling the people to be part in the decision making of development matters of their areas. He also compared the 70 years of Congress and other parties’ rule with the 10 years of Modi government and asked the people to themselves judge as to which party has caused damage and which benefitted the nation and its people.

Kissan Morcha District President Chain Singh, Programme Incharge Adv. Pawan Dev Singh also addressed the gathering.
