Annual Prize Giving Function organised at KC Public school

JAMMU, 23 Dec:The Annual Prize Giving function of KC Public School was organised today at 12.30 PM in the multi-sports hall of KC Sports Club. Shri Sukhdev Singh Samyal, JKAS, Special Secretary to Govt of J&K (Social Welfare Department), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Shri Raju Chowdhary, Chairman of the school, was also present at the function.

The function commence with a welcome address by Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra. It was followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest. After that, school choir group presented the school song and senior girls performed a well-choreographed prayer dance dedicated to Lord Shiva. After this brief cultural programme, Chief Guest gave away mementos to students for their excellent performance in academics, sports and co-curricular activities.

In his address to the gathering, the Chief Guest underscored the significance of holistic
education KC Public School is offering to the children of Jammu & Kashmir and appreciated the school management for creating and sustaining an educational ambience in the school that matches with the best in the contemporary world. He advised the young students to take
maximum benefit out of the ideal educational system provided by the school and build their
careers and characters in tune with the ideals of the Round Square with which the school is
associated.

In his thanks giving speech, Vice Principal Sanjay Pandey thanked the Chief Guest and all the
invited parents for gracing the function with their presence. He also congratulated the entire
staff of the school for their contribution in the process of implementing the educational ethos
of the school extremely successfully.
