Rousing welcome accorded to VBSY at Panchayat Dori, Kharah Balli

JAMMU, December 23: People at Panchayat Dori of block Kharah Balli accorded a rousing welcome to the special van which arrived there as part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

The VBSY Van was welcomed by the members of the Swagat Committee, PRI representatives of the panchayat along with prominent citizens of the panchayat in presence of Sarpanch Sikander Pal, Block Development Officer Ajay Pandita, Zonal Incharge Cultural Cell, and officers from Health, ICDS, Agriculture, Education, Horticulture, Social Welfare and Forest departments.

The message of the Prime Minister was displayed on the VBSY Van followed by the Sankalp pledge taken by the people of the panchayat to make India a developed Nation by 2047.

The event commenced with the National Anthem and was followed by the cultural events by the students of Government High School Majjam. The event was also attended by the representatives of all line departments.

Line department officials showcased government schemes and distributed informational material and address queries. Free health care services were made available.

The public was given information by various Departmental Officials laying down the vision of the Government of India to make India a developed Nation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by the Sarpanch Sikander Pal.
