Good Governance Day commemoration on Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Birth Anniversary held at Reasi

REASI, December 25: The District Administration Reasi celebrated the Good Governance Day, which coincides with the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The day serves as a platform to enhance awareness among the citizens regarding accountability in governance and government.

Additional District Development Commissioner Jyoti Slathia, speaking on the occasion, emphasized the pivotal role of transparency and accountability in every department.

In her speech, she said that each government department operates with the highest standards of transparency, fostering trust between the government and the people it serves.

Good Governance Day is a reminder of the principles championed by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who dedicated his career to fostering a government that is accountable, responsive, and committed to the welfare of the people.

Later, all the officers and officials took the integrity pledge on the occasion.
