24th Rashtra Katha Shivir Yatra concludes in Jammu

JAMMU, December 27: The 24th Rashtra Katha Shivir Yatra Closing Ceremony  was organized at 76 Bn CRPF. This 24th Rashtra Katha Shivir Yatra has been  organized and conducted successfully under Civic Action programme by CRPF under able guidance and supervision of Sandeep Khirwar, IPS, IG, Jammu Sector and Ashok Shamyal, DIG Jammu Sector.

T. H. Khan, Commandant 76 Bn was present as the chief guest. 38, 72, 76  and 160 battalions of CRPF Jammu Sector sent 100 children from their area of  responsibility in Jammu for this Yatra.

Pertinently, Shri Vedic Mission Trust organized the 24th Rashtra Katha Camp at Rajkot Gujarat from 17/12/2023 to 24/12/2023 in which 25  students & one teacher each from Government High School Greater Kailash Lower Chowadi Jammu, Government High School Kandoli Nagrota, Government Higher  Secondary School Uttar Behani Samba, and Government High School Kali deh  Sunderbani (Rajouri) participated in the programme.

The programme started with the welcome speech by Praveen Kumar, Asst. Comdt. 76Bn who described the glorious history, various social & welfare activities undertaken by the CRPF.

  T. H. Khan, Commandant 76  Bn addressed the children and briefed them regarding the importance of the camp for  awakening national spirit, apprise the rich history and culture of India, sense of  national integration, social harmony, overall personality development and the  programs/ activities held in the camp. He said that during the Katha Shivir, national  integration, cultural and personal development, patriotism, national security issues,  Spirituality, disaster management, Cultural heritage of India was taught to students. 

During the camp Indian Coast Guard, CRPF, RAF presented/showcased their weapons & equipments through exhibition, march-past and educated the students about various types of innovations and modern equipments & arms for national security.
