Health camps facilitate screening of 93,000 ailing individuals, so far

ANANTNAG, DECEMBER 29: Inspector General Registration, Sheikh Arshad Ayub, enthusiastically joined the monumental Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Qazigund, Anantnag. The historic town served as the backdrop for this journey, showcasing the government’s commitment to citizen welfare and transformative developmental initiatives.

Engaging with local residents during the ongoing yatra, Sheikh Arshad Ayub assessed the impact of Central Government Schemes, with thousands of participants praising the direct delivery of flagship benefits. Through various events, the tangible success of initiatives like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and more was spotlighted. “Meri Kahani Meri Zabani” sessions brought forth, illustrating the real impact of these initiatives on people’s lives.

Addressing the gathering, Shiekh Arshad Ayub emphasized Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s vision, which focuses on awareness, reaching the unreached, facilitating scheme utilization, and achieving saturation of schemes. The yatra played a pivotal role in fostering development, engaging with government schemes, and achieving saturation under citizen-centric programs. The “Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat” pledge was also administered, accompanied by cultural programs and quizzes to raise awareness about the yatra’s objectives.

The Viksit Bharat Rath’s arrival in Qazigund exemplifies the government’s commitment to continuous public welfare. Participants attentively listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recorded message, sharing success stories that highlighted the tangible benefits of government welfare schemes.

The said Yatra Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi exceeded expectations, uniting over 2.30 lakh participants in District Anantnag. This extraordinary journey brought citizens together across 335 Gram Panchayats and 10 Urban local bodies, showcasing a collective vision for national development. Traversing 16 blocks and 10 municipalities, including tribal areas, the Yatra fosters empowerment and community engagement, creating a shared narrative of progress in Anantnag.

The Yatra camps in District Anantnag have transformed into vibrant hubs, offering on-the-spot services. Health camps played a crucial role, screening 93,000 individuals for prevalent health concerns. The Yatra stands as a testament to India’s commitment to development, with over 1700 My Bharat volunteers and 2.20 lakh individuals pledging the transformative “Sankalp Pledge.” Recognitions were bestowed upon notable contributors, celebrating diversity and inclusivity.

Beyond agriculture, the Yatra involved farmers through drone and Soil Health Card demonstrations.
