VYOM festival concludes in Baramulla; talent of specially-abled showcased

BARAMULLA, JANUARY 01: Young Minds (VYOM), a two-day inclusive festival hosted by the Social Welfare Department Baramulla at Government Higher Secondary School Rebban B’la concluded amidst a vibrant display of talent by the persons with disabilities (PWDs).

The festival, focused on showcasing the extraordinary abilities of persons with special needs through a spectrum of vibrant sports and cultural activities.

Throughout the event, a multitude of sports competitions, including Cricket, Carrom, Badminton, and Table Tennis among others took place, illuminating the remarkable sporting prowess of specially-abled persons.

The festival also embraced a cultural extravaganza where participants displayed their talents, like musical and dance performances, art making etc, captivating the audience and highlighting the creative capacities of the participants.

Later, the winners of the different activities were felicitated for their outstanding performances acknowledging their efforts and enthusiasm throughout the festival.
