2 vehicles set on fire; Rajouri Police solves case within 24 hours, accused held

RAJOURI, 3 January 2024: Police Station Sunderbani received a written application given by complainant Satpal S/O Krishan Lal R/O Fulwari Bajwal in Sunderbani who mentioned that on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, at about 11: 30 PM, some unknown person put his 2 vehicles on fire.

The vehicles have registration numbers–JK11G 3081 ( Motorcycle) and JK11F-1369 (Mahindra Bolero load carrier). The vehicles were set on fire by breaking the oil tank of the motorcycle.

On this information a case FIR No 01/2024 U/S 435 IPC was registered at PS Sunderbani. The police team rushed to the spot and collected all relevant evidence.

Based on some credible clues one suspect namely Satish Kumar S/O Suresh Kumar R/O Laman Bajwal age 26 years. The picked suspect during interrogation disclosed his involvement in the commission of the crime.

The accused has been arrested within 24 hours and further investigation is going on.
