DC Doda leads Block Diwas Outreach Program to address public concerns at Dessa

DODA, JANUARY 3: In a significant move to address the public’s concerns and grievances, the District Administration  Doda today conducted an extensive Block Diwas outreach program at Gai-A Dessa, Block Bhagwah. 

The initiative provided  the local residents a platform to project their issues directly to the authorities. 

District Development Commissioner, Harvinder Singh, spearheaded the program in presence of  ADDC Pran Singh, ACD, Phulial Singh ACP Ashfaq Khanji DPO/ DIO Doda Suraj Singh, Teshildar, DFO, CEO, BDO and others.

Several issues, encompassing provision and augmentation of water and electricity supply, school and healthcare infrastructure, road connectivity, and MGNREGA-related concerns were projected by the locals. 

Notably, the public, along with members of PRIs, sarpanchs  and panches actively participated in these discussions. The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Government HSS building, school activities, and a newly constructed road in the area.

The outreach event witnessed participation of a large gatherings from different parts of the district, seeking intervention of the administration to meet their demands effectively and promptly. 

The program, a testament to the administration’s commitment to responsive governance, aimed at ensuring that government services and benefits reach the populace efficiently and without delay.

Enroute to block diwas location, the DC inspected the truck terminal near Akramaabad and MRF facility of MC Doda.
