Viksit Bharat Yatra in Ramban: 27,000 Women among 70,000 participated in 39 Day
RAMBAN, JANUARY 05: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, is making substantial progress in Ramban District.
While the focus is on saturating Centrally Sponsored Schemes, reaching people in Panchayats and Urban areas,, the Yatra goes beyond numbers, fostering community engagement and youth participation. Local youth are seen actively joining sports activities, pledging commitment to develop India by 2047.
Pertinently in 39 days of Yatra across Ramban, over 70,000 people, including 27,000 women, participated in the Yatra across urban and rural areas of the District. Their keen interest was evident in gaining knowledge about the schemes like PM-JAY Ayushman Card, Poshan ICDS, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, KCC, PM Kissan Nidhi, and more.
Today, the Yatra made its mark in Banihal, where people were urged to take benefit from the self-employment and job-oriented programs. In Ramban town’s Ward No. 5, Municipal Council initiated the Graha Parvesh of two Prime Minister Awas Yojna- Urban beneficiaries.
Additionally, the Municipal Council sanctioned Rs 50,000 each to 5 street vendors under PM SVANidhi scheme. Awareness messages and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s motivational speeches were screened.
A Viksit Bharat Sankalp pledge was administered, and under the campaign ‘Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani,’ beneficiaries shared their stories of how they benefited from various government-sponsored schemes.
