Drug peddler arrested in Baramulla with 52 grams of contraband
In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, the Baramulla Police apprehended a drug peddler at Boniyar Market on Friday, confiscating 52 grams of contraband substances suspected to be Charas.

The Police Station in Boniyar has registered a case under FIR No. 02/2024, citing sections 8/20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigation into the source and network is underway.
Following the arrest any potential accomplices, are expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
