Langar lauds Nitin Gadkari for addressing concerns regarding Expressway Flyover Design in Jammu
JAMMU, January 06: Sham Lal Langar, Convenor, BJP Trade Cell, Jammu & Kashmir, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, for his prompt consideration of the genuine concerns raised by the trading community in Jammu, regarding the proposed design of the RCC Wall structure for the Expressway Flyover from Narwal to Sainik Colony.
Addressing media persons at party headquarter, Jammu, Sham Langar said that the Chamber of Commerce and Industries Jammu had earlier approached the J&K BJP leadership seeking modification of the proposed RCC Wall structure design for the Expressway Flyover.
BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, IT Incharge Ishant Gupta and Trade Cell Co-Convenor Jai Inder Jain were also present in the Press Conference.
The senior BJP leader said that a delegation of BJP leaders headed by Devender Rana had met with the Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways in New Delhi and briefed him the matter concerning the traders of Jammu city with regard to the proposal of Expressway Flyover from Narwal to Sainik Colony area in Jammu.
Langar said that the delegation urged the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for reconsideration of the current design in favour of a pillar-based structure, citing potential disruptions to local businesses and community life.
Langar lauded Nitin Gadkari for a patient hearing to the serious concern of Jammu traders and directed authorities concerned to change proposed design of RCC Wall structure with Pier and Girder Wall structure in the upcoming Expressway Flyover from Narwal to Sainik Colony area of Jammu city.
Sham Langar also expressed gratitude to the senior BJP leaders, including Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary BJP and Prabhari J&K, Ravinder Raina, President BJP J&K, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Org.) and Devender Rana, for championing the cause.
Sham Lal Langar also expressed gratitude to the Central Government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for the commendable development initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in the realm of infrastructure.
