Police crackdown on drugs in Baramulla: Peddler arrested with 110 grams of Charas
In a significant crackdown on illicit drug activities, Baramulla police arrested a drug peddler and seized 110 grams of contraband Charas-like substance from his possession.

The arrest took place at a checkpoint established in the Rambailpora Kunzer area of Baramulla. A police party from Kunzer Police Station, acting on specific intelligence, intercepted a suspicious individual. During a thorough search, the officers discovered 110 grams of a Charas-like substance concealed on his person.
The accused was immediately arrested and taken into custody. A case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and a thorough investigation is underway.
Police are currently trying to determine the source of the contraband and identify any potential accomplices.
