Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra draws massive crowds during urban leg at MC Billawar
KATHUA, JANUARY 07: The Urban leg of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra recently unfolded in the Municipal limits of MC Billawar, witnessing an overwhelming turnout from diverse sections of the society.
Enthusiastic participants gathered at Uppar Chugaan, where the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van captured the attention of all attendees.
Numerous engaging sessions highlighted different flagship schemes, with attendees having the opportunity to interact and address queries directly with respective department representatives. The event aimed to enhance understanding among prospective beneficiaries and foster a sense of community engagement.
During the event, the Viksit Bharat Pledge was administered, with the presence of Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members and Administrative Officers. Departmental stalls received significant footfall, as people eagerly seized the opportunity to learn about what they term an unprecedented holistic empowerment campaign.
One beneficiary, a farmer, expressed satisfaction, deeming the event a great learning experience. The atmosphere was filled with joy when Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) beneficiaries were handed ceremonial keys to their newly constructed houses.
The Yatra echoed the Prime Minister’s message of achieving developed status for India by 2047, emphasizing an inclusive approach to carry every citizen along on the nation’s developmental journey.
