Samba: DLIC approves 16 loan Scheme cases under Mission Youth

SAMBA, JANUARY 12: District level Implementation committee (DLIC) for implementation of livelihood schemes of Mission Youth Schemes MUMKIN and TEJESWINI  met here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Samba Abhishek Sharma  to assess the applications received under these loan schemes.

The Committee approved 7 cases under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Loan scheme involving loan amount of Rs.70.00 lakh and 9 cases under MUMKIN scheme involving a loan amount of Rs. 52.54 lakh .

The Deputy Commissioner directed the Assistant Director Employment, who is the Nodal Officer for Mission Youth loan Schemes, to create maximum awareness about these schemes and coordinate with banks and other departments for timely sanction and disbursement of the cases .

During the current financial year, 76 cases have been approved by DLIC under different livelihood schemes of Mission Youth Department like Mumkin, Tejeswini and Spurring Entrepreneurship Schemes till date.

Under Mumkin Scheme , a beneficiary can avail upto Rs 10.00 lakh loan with 20 %  subsidy for purchase of load carrier, passenger auto and electric auto.

Under Tejeswini scheme , female beneficiaries can avail loan upto 5.00 lakh with 10% margin money and interest subsidy upto 60000 rupees for establishment of any viable business unit. Under Spurring Entrepreneurship scheme, beneficiaries can avail loan upto 20.00 lakh with interest subvention upto 2.00 lakh, margin money of 5% and variable incentives on business development for establishment of their own business.  

DSWO, Functional Manager DIC, Nodal Officer JKEDI , Career Counselling Officer and representative from Banks were also present in the meeting .
