SSP Doda extends heartfelt Lohri greetings to residents and security forces

On the auspicious occasion of Lohri, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda Abdul Qayoom sent out a wave of warmth and festivity, extending heartfelt greetings to the people of the district, all ranks of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and security forces, and families of martyrs and police personnel.

Taking to Twitter, SSP Qayoom shared a message brimming with good wishes.

His message resonated with the community, spreading the spirit of Lohri, a vibrant festival that marks the end of winter and the harvest season.

Lohri is celebrated with bonfires, traditional folk songs and dances, and sweet treats like ‘rewdi’ and ‘gajak.’
