Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra: Awareness Camp hosted at Panchayat Sunari in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, JANUARY 15: A day-long awareness camp was conducted by Animal Husbandry Department, Udhampur, as part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The event took place at Panchayat Ghar Sunari in District Udhampur.

District Development Council Chairperson, Lal Chand graced the occasion as the chief guest, encouraging active participation in the camp. A multitude of attendees, particularly farmers, gathered to partake in the program and took the Viksit Bharat pledge.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Udhampur, enlightened farmers about various beneficiary schemes implemented by the Animal Husbandry Department. The DDC Chairperson, urged the public to maximize the benefits of government schemes to enhance income and foster employment. He commended the commendable efforts of the Animal Husbandry Department.

Darshana Devi, Ex-Sarpanch Sunari, extended her gratitude to the department for organizing the awareness camp. The event saw participation from Ramakant Khajuria, Bank Manager J&K Bank Sunari, emphasizing the benefits of the KCC Scheme, and Dalip from HIMAYAT briefed about government-run skilled development programs for unemployed youth.

In addition to informative sessions, free medicines were distributed during the camp. An interactive session with farmers addressed their queries, featuring the presence of Dr. Suresh Kumar Thapa, Livestock Development Officer, Udhampur and other staff from the Animal Husbandry Department.
