Anti-Drug awareness program held across Educational Zones in Doda
DODA, JANUARY 16: An awareness program on hazards of drug abuse and ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ initiative was held in all Educational Zones of District Doda.
Students, parents, and staff members actively participated in the initiative. The main event was held in Boys Higher Secondary School Doda, with DYSP HQ Jaswant Singh, DEPO, Dr. Anis Ahmed, SHO, Jatinder Rukwal, Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Babu Ram, and I/C Drug De-addiction center, Simi Thakur also joined the event.
A number of students spoke on the harmful effects of drugs on individuals, families, and society at large. They urged the public to raise awareness about the detrimental impact of drugs and stay vigilant against those involved in illegal drug trade. The participants unanimously called for widespread awareness efforts, emphasizing the need to be cautious of individuals engaged in such illegal activities.
The event concluded with a commitment to organize similar programs on a larger scale to ensure the success of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, aiming to create a drug-free India.
