Authorities conducted jet fan installation within the T5 tunnel, a vital element for ventilation and safety within the structure. Additionally, a grider, a heavy-duty machine used for road leveling and smoothening, was deployed at MNB-19 to address any surface imperfections. These maintenance works are crucial for ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic on the strategically important highway.
As of now, traffic has resumed on the highway, but authorities advise commuters to exercise caution and follow lane discipline.
