Power hungry Farooq gets disgrace for J&K: Chugh

BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today said that it is a matter of “shame and disgrace” for the entire people of J&K that the patron of NC is justifying the arrest of his father Sheikh Abdullah during the Nehru times.

In a strongly worded statement Chugh said it was pure political opportunism of Farooq Abdulah in his greed for power that he was even prepared to abjure and to an extent disown his father.

Chugh warned people of J&K against such people who have been playing a double game with J&K for their vested political interests.

He said Farooq Abdullah is a “power hungry” person and he can even disown his father for it.

The Modi led government has ushered in a new era of development and progress in J&K which has brought about basic transformation in the culture.

Chugh said it is time Muftis and Abdullahs are cast into oblivions and people start seeing a new sunrise in J&K.
