DC Doda flags off 20 students on Educational Tour to IIT Kanpur
DODA, FEBRUARY 01: A group of students drawn from different parts of Doda district left for a 6 day educational tour to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur.
The initiative, under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, aims to enrich the educational experience of students by exposing them to renowned academic institutions.
The group of 20 enthusiastic students was flagged off for the enlightening journey by Deputy Commissioner Harvender Singh.
During their visit to IIT Kanpur, the students will have the opportunity to interact with faculty members, attend lectures, and explore the campus facilities. This immersive experience is expected to inspire and motivate the students, fostering their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
