DC discusses proposals for opening new Kendriya Vidyalayas in Udhampur District

UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 6: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, to review the status of opening of new Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) in the district.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Umesh Shan, SDM Ramnagar, Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, SDM Chenani, Gurdev Kumar, SDM Dudu Manmeet Kumar, and other senior officers from various departments.

Detailed discussions were held on various checklists regarding the opening of  new Kendriya Vidyalayas in the district. ACR Udhampur Umesh Shan briefed the chair about the checklist and parameters for the process.

During the meeting, ACR was directed to expedite the preparation of all requisite codal formalities and parameters, including revenue records, for the proposed sites of KV construction. Concerned officers were instructed to initiate the process of obtaining land and revenue papers and to expedite progress in fulfilling various checklists. This aims to ensure that the proposal for new KVs can be forwarded to the concerned Ministry at the earliest.
