MVD Reasi organises Medical cum Eye Checkup Camp

REASI, FEBRUARY 07:  The Motor Vehicle Department Reasi, in collaboration with the Health Department and Rotary Hospital Udhampur and Katra today organized a Medical cum Eye Checkup Camp at Fountain Chowk Katra.

The initiative was a part of the ongoing National Road Safety Month campaign and aimed to ensure the safety and well-being of drivers, conductors, and the local public.

Joint Transport Commissioner, Vinay Samotra and RTO Jammu Pankaj Bagotra attended the camp where 600 drivers and conductors, alongside members of the local community were screened by a team of doctors. The comprehensive checkup aimed to identify and address any health concerns that could potentially compromise their ability to operate vehicles safely.

Every individual underwent thorough examinations, particularly focusing on their fitness to drive. Those found unfit received personalized guidance and recommendations for further medical attention, ensuring their health and safety on the roads.
