Placement Cell, University of Jammu, organized a workshop on Computing and Presentation skill

JAMMU, Jan 27: Placement Cell, University of Jammu organized one day workshop on computation and presentation skills in the computer science department, University of Jammu, Jammu for the students of various departments of the University of Jammu.

Prof. Pawanesh Abrol, Head, Department of Computer Science and IT, along with Prof. Vinay Chouhan, Dean Students Placement were the key resource for the inaugural function. In his address, Prof. Abrol highlighted the relevance of the workshops from the corporate perspective. He also highlighted the significance to update the technical skills in the fast-changing technological environment. Prof. Chouhan apprised about the different activities conducted in collaborations with the department of computer science.

Dr. Anil Gupta was the resource person in the first session of the workshop and he conducted the technical session on the computation of the data. Dr. Farah Choudhary, was the resource person for the second session of the workshop and she conducted the session on the presentation of data. Prof. Rahul Gupta, Dean Faculty of the mathematics and Rector, Bhaderwah Campus was the Chief Guest of the valedictory function.

While addressing the audience he appreciated the efforts of the Prof. Vinay Chouhan, for organizing the workshop on skill developments in the students. While addressing the students he insisted on becoming job provider instead of job seeker. Dr. Shubhnadan S. Jamwal, was the organizing secretary of the workshop. Ms. Shilpa Chaku, TPO and Varinder Bhatia from the office of the Dean Student Placement arranged the logistics.
