LG Manoj Sinha pays tributes to Pulwama attack martyrs on 5th anniversary

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today expressed his deepest condolences on the fifth anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack, paying his respects to the 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who lost their lives in the deadly suicide bombing.

Taking to Twitter, Sinha wrote, “Humble tributes to the bravehearts who sacrificed their lives in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack. The nation will forever remain indebted to their exemplary courage, supreme sacrifice, and selfless service to the motherland.”

On February 14, 2019, a convoy of CRPF vehicles on the Jammu-Srinagar highway was targeted by a suicide bomber affiliated with the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist group. The attack, one of the deadliest in Kashmir’s history, sent shockwaves across the nation and triggered heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.

Since that fateful day, the memory of the Pulwama martyrs has remained etched in the collective consciousness of the nation, serving as a poignant reminder of the immense sacrifices made by the armed forces in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
