ACB raids Srinagar’s Rajbagh, recovers liquor cache in disproportionate assets case against cop
The Jammu and Kashmir Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted searches in Srinagar as part of an ongoing investigation into a disproportionate assets case.
The case revolves around Inspector (S) Ameet Kumar Koul, whose assets have come under scrutiny.

Acting swiftly on reliable information, the ACB team carried out searches at the Bhatt Guest House in Rajbagh, Srinagar.
In a room used by Inspector (S) Ameet Kumar Koul, they discovered a significant cache of liquor – a total of 58 bottles of various brands.
The search operation was conducted in the presence of an Executive Magistrate and independent witnesses.
Given the substantial quantity of liquor found, the matter has been formally referred to the SHO of PS Rajbagh, Srinagar, who will initiate a separate legal proceeding through an FIR.
Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
