Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nubra chairs meet on Pulse Polio Immunization 2024 in Leh

Leh, Feb 27, 2024: Sub Divisional Magistrate Nubra, Tufail Iqbal, chaired a meeting on Pulse Polio Immunization 2024 at the SDM Office in Diskit today on February 27.

The Block Force Committee for Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) discussed the planning and implementation of activities scheduled for March 3 for pulse polio vaccination and house-to-house activities on March 4-5.

Pulse polio vaccination will be administered on March 3 at the Medical Centre in every village. In villages where no Medical Centre is available, the vaccination will be conducted at the Government School or Community Hall.

SDM Nubra emphasized the need for close coordination among all concerned departments to ensure polio vaccination for every child under 5 years in Nubra.

The meeting was attended by Sub District Hospital Diskit, Dr. Khatija; Zonal District Planning Office Diskit, Sonam Stobdan and Incharge CDPO Sonam Tsephel.
