High court of J&K and Ladakh expedites disposal of old cases: over decade-old cases assigned to various benches
In a bid to expedite the resolution of longstanding legal matters, the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has taken a significant step by assigning old cases, dating back to the year 2005, to various Hon’ble Benches.
In an order issued by the Registrar General’s office at Jammu, it was detailed that the Hon’ble Chief Justice has delegated these cases to different benches led by esteemed justices. The decision aims to streamline the judicial process and ensure timely justice delivery to the litigants.
